Vietnam to reduce environmental protection taxes on petroleum products, starting April 1 till end of this year, according to a posting on the country’s National Assembly, citing its standing committee’s meeting Wednesday.
- Environmental protection tax on gasoline to be cut to 2,000 dong a liter from 4,000 dong per liter
- Diesel, mazut and lubricant to be reduced by 50% to 1,000 dong per liter
- Kerosene to be decreased to 300 dong per liter from 1,000 dong per liter
- Jet fuel to remain at 1,500 dong per liter
