Virginia Democrats Press IRS to Process Covid-Era Credit Faster

Virginia Sens. Mark Warner and Tim Kaine want the IRS to move quicker as it processes a backlog of pandemic-era tax credit claims.

“Unfortunately, many of our constituents are telling us they cannot make informed decisions because they have no knowledge as to when and if their claims will be processed,” the Democrat Senators wrote in a letterto IRS Commissioner Danny Werfel Friday.
