Weil Adds Alec Campbell as Tax Partner in New York Office

Alec Campbell joined Weil, Gotshal & Manges as a partner in its tax department in New York, the firm announced Monday.

Campbell’s practice focuses on advising US and international investment fund managers on tax aspects of fundraising and liquidity needs. He regularly advises on tax aspects of private fund formation, secondaries transactions, GP-stake, and other upper-tier transactions for alternative asset managers, as well as liquidity solutions for private funds and their sponsors, the firm said.

He joins from DLA Piper.
