West Virginia Governor Signs Law Updating Corporate Income Tax Definitions

The West Virginia Governor signed a law updating the corporate income tax definitions in the state code, to conform with the meaning of those definitions under the Internal Revenue Code. The law takes effect Feb. 23, and applies to taxable years prior to Jan. 1, 2026. [S.B. 393, enacted 03/02/26]
