Wyden Asks Justice Thomas’ Attorney for $267,000 Loan Details

Senate Finance Chair Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) asked for clarity from Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’ attorney about his remarks about a loan the justice used to buy a luxury motor coach.

Wyden asked attorney Elliot Berke in a Tuesday letter to provide details and documents that confirm what Berke said in a statement refuting the committee’s conclusion that Thomas got an interest-only loan from health care executive Anthony Welters forgiven.
