Wyoming Governor Seeks $10.5 Million to Fulfill Tax Refunds

The Wyoming Property Tax Refund System needs $10.5 million in additional funding in order to give homeowners their promised refunds in the future, Gov. Mark Gordon said Wednesday.

“You’ll remember that last year’s budget made a promise to provide property tax refunds to any qualified applicant who met income criteria,” the Republican said in his State of the State address. “As it stands today, we are oversubscribed.
