Agnelli Heirs’ Assets Worth €75m Seized by Italian Court (1)

An Italian judge ordered the seizure of €74.8m in assets belonging to John Elkann, head of Italy’s billionaire Agnelli clan, for alleged fiscal fraud and fraud against the state, according to a statement from the court in Turin.

  • The investigation alleges Elkann, as well as his siblings Lapo and Ginevra, didn’t pay Italian taxes on assets they inherited after the death in 2019 of their grandmother Marella Caracciolo, the wife of late Fiat boss Gianni Agnelli
