AI Raises Job Security Fears for Accountants, Global Survey Says

Accountants worldwide are increasingly concerned that artificial intelligence could take away their jobs, according to a survey of more than 11,000 finance professionals in 160 countries.

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants on Wednesday highlighted the survey’s two main findings: First, more than half of the respondents were worried that AI could affect their jobs, with younger people especially concerned. And around two-thirds of the accountants polled wanted their roles to make a difference to society and climate change.
