The nonprofit organization representing the US public company audit industry is set for a leadership change, as the profession broadly is being reshaped by artificial intelligence and faces a shrinking talent pipeline.
Center for Audit Quality CEO Julie Bell Lindsay is stepping down after seven years at the helm, the center said Thursday.
Mark Koziel, the president and CEO of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, has been appointed by the center’s governing board as interim CEO, the center announced. Lindsay will work with Koziel through the end of April to smooth the transition.
