Amazon Defeats Flex Driver Bid for Class Status in Wage Lawsuit

Amazon.com Inc. convinced a federal judge that a driver in its Flex program failed to meet the requirements to pursue misclassification, minimum wage, and business expense claims on behalf of a class.

The workers’ claims don’t pose enough common legal and factual questions to land class status and one of the claims can’t move forward at all, the US District Court for the Western District of Washington said.
