Amazon Holiday Pay Class Denied Certification, Needs New Briefs

A Colorado-based Amazon worker needs to file updated briefings to get certification for a class of employees who were allegedly deprived of holiday incentive pay, a federal court said.

Daniel Hamilton’s motion to certify was denied without prejudice because it fails to meet Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 23’s superiority requirement, the US District Court for the District of Colorado said in a Feb. 20 order docketed Monday.
