Auditors’ top complaints center on a lack of work-life balance and not enough pay for the long hours they work, according to a worldwide survey of finance professionals released Wednesday.
The survey found “a profession in need of an overhaul,” the London-based Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and Sydney-based Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand said in a joint statement. The two professional bodies questioned more than 6,500 finance workers in 150 countries.
