Australia Frustrated by PwC Refusal to Share Tax Leak Report (1)

Australia’s tax authority accused PwC of using legal distinctions between its national and global firms to shield releasing a report into the accounting firm’s leaking of confidential information.

The Australia Tax Office told a Senate hearing Friday that officials haven’t been able to get a copy of the PwC-commissioned report by international law firm Linklaters that looked into how a top tax executive shared the information with clients.
