Australia’s most populous state on Thursday banned PwC from tax consulting work as the fallout from the firm’s leak of government secrets continues.
New South Wales is barring PwC, also known as PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, from new tax consulting contracts for an interim three-month period, it said. The firm has also promised that no people involved in the national scandal will do any work for the state government, it said.
