Baker Tilly Taps CPA Industry Veteran as Global Network’s Chair

Barry Melancon has been appointed chair of Baker Tilly International, the top 10 global accountancy network announced Thursday.

Melancon previously served as CEO of the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA) for three decades. During his tenure, he spearheaded several initiatives to benefit the accounting profession and was recently inducted into the Accounting Hall of Fame.

Francesca Lagerberg, CEO of Baker Tilly International, said in a statement that Melancon brings valuable insights critical for the network’s future direction.
