Bank of China drops proposal to appoint PricewaterhouseCoopers the bank’s external auditor for 2024, citing market conditions and business development needs.

  • Instead, the bank will engage PwC to provide 2024 interim review and services at 35m yuan
  • The bank will start selection of a new external auditor for 2024
