Accounting firm BDO Australia is set to open a Canberra base with the hire of two partners from rival outfits.
BDO has hired Paul McDougall from Scyne Advisory — the spun out government advisory business of PwC Australia — to lead the new Canberra advisory practice, according to a Monday statement by BDO. He spent 19 years at PwC Australia prior to the Scyne sell off in 2023.
He is joined by partner Ridhish Arora from advisory group Sayers, who will lead BDO’s Federal Government technology and digital offerings in the new base, the statement added. ...
