BDO UK Cuts 31 Partners After Profit, Revenue Fall in 2025

BDO, the UK’s fifth-largest accounting firm, is cutting more than 30 partners after revenue and profits fell in 2025.

The firm confirmed by email Thursday that 31 of its 501 UK partners would leave, representing more than 6% of its headcount.

The move follows a 7.5% fall in operating profit to £210 million ($282 million) in the year to July 4, 2025, with profit per equity partner tumbling to £589,000, from £681,000 in 2024.
