BDO UK’s revenues surged to more than £900 million ($1.1 billion) in fiscal year 2023, the firm announced Wednesday, with audit business leading the growth and eating away at larger competitors’ market share.
Overall revenues in the UK grew 16% to £935 million, with audit—the firm’s biggest business line—increasing 24% to £400 million. Profit per partner fell 6% to £609,000 despite an increase in operating profit, after heavy investment in technology and growth in the number of partners. The firm now has a record 441 partners, 61 more than the previous year.
