BeiGene has hired U.S.-based Ernst & Young LLP as its principal auditor of financial statements to be filed with the SEC, Caixin reports, without citing a source.
- Boston-based Ernst & Young will replace China-based Ernst & Young Hua Ming LLP
- The company hired a U.S.-registered accounting firm in order to “seek compliance with the Holding Foreign Companies Accountable Act,” Caixin said
- Ernst & Young did not comment on the matter to Caixin
- BeiGene told Caixin they have been “in active communication with Chinese and U.S. regulators”
