Congress has cleared a $1.7 trillion omnibus spending deal to fund federal operations for fiscal 2023.

The 4,126-page package (H.R. 2617) included $47 billion in emergency funds for Ukraine and $38 billion for disaster aid, and just over $15 billion in earmarks. Provisions including a ban on downloading TikTok on government devices, changes to the Electoral Count Act, expanded retirement savings options, and protections for lactating rail carrier and motorcoach employees were also included in the package.
