Chief accountants of the Big Four auditing firms are among industry heavyweights joining a revamped panel tasked with tackling narrow financial reporting questions and offering quick-hit solutions to the US accounting standard-setter.
The Financial Accounting Standards Board announced Wednesday that the new members of the Emerging Issues Task Force are:
- Thomas Barbieri, chief accountant, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP
- Paul Beswick, Chief Accountant, Ernst & Young LLP
- Jack Ciesielski, President, R.G. Associates
- David Gonzales, Vice President—Senior Accounting Analyst, Moody’s Investors Service, Inc.
- Robert Malhotra, Chief Accountant, KPMG LLP
- Kevin McBride, Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer, ServiceNow Inc.
