Big Four Chief Accountants Join Revamped US Advisory Panel

Chief accountants of the Big Four auditing firms are among industry heavyweights joining a revamped panel tasked with tackling narrow financial reporting questions and offering quick-hit solutions to the US accounting standard-setter.

The Financial Accounting Standards Board announced Wednesday that the new members of the Emerging Issues Task Force are:

  • Thomas Barbieri, chief accountant, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP
  • Paul Beswick, Chief Accountant, Ernst & Young LLP
  • Jack Ciesielski, President, R.G. Associates
  • David Gonzales, Vice President—Senior Accounting Analyst, Moody’s Investors Service, Inc.
  • Robert Malhotra, Chief Accountant, KPMG LLP
  • Kevin McBride, Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer, ServiceNow Inc.
