Big Four Lose UK Listed Clients, Still Dominate Bigger Audits

The Big Four continue to dominate the UK’s large company audits, according to a report Monday, though smaller firms continue to nibble away at their overall share of the listed market.

The Big Four audited 98 of the largest 100 companies on the London stock exchange in the three months leading up to Feb. 8, according to a study by Adviser Rankings Ltd. Nonetheless, BDO LLP remains in the top spot as auditor to the most listed companies.

The Big Four accounting firms are Deloitte LLP, Ernst & Young LLP, KPMG LLP and PwC, also known as PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
