Bolivia Govt Files Bill for $54.8M in Foreign Loans to Congress

Bolivia’s government has submitted two new foreign loans totaling $54.8m to Congress for approval, Planning and Development Minister Sergio Cusicanqui said during a webcast press conference.

  • One of the new loans was signed with the International Fund for Agricultural Development for $24.6m, the other was signed with the Inter-American Development Bank for $30.2m
  • NOTE: Bolivia’s Senate Approves $459M in Loans for Infrastructure
  • Minister said the new government will get around $1.8b in foreign loans approved
