The central bank appealed to the court’s board asking for it to make a decision on the probe, according to a document seen by Bloomberg News. The move is an attempt to fend off a unilateral decision from a single board member, Jhonatan de Jesus, who ordered an inquiry into the central bank’s handling of the Banco Master matter.
