Taxable wages for Chile’s social taxes were adjusted effective Feb. 1 from the values in effect for January based on final data on national wage increases, the Superintendency of Pensions said.
Monthly taxable wages increased by 0.1 units of account (UF) effective Feb. 1 to 135.2 UF for unemployment insurance and to 90 UF for other social taxes, from 135.1 and 89.9, the superintendency said in a news release (Spanish). The value of one UF as of Feb. 28 is 39,790.63 Chilean pesos (US$45.93).
