EY’s Australian arm said Thursday that it had posted record revenue on the back of surging consulting and advisory business, with weaker growth in audit.
Australian revenues jumped 19% to $2.75 billion Australian dollars (US$1.9 billion) in fiscal year 2022, a record level, EY said. All of its divisions grew over the year, but its strategy and consulting arms grew three times faster than its small assurance division, which accounted for roughly 21% of revenue.
