Country Garden says PwC fails to fulfill the timetable requirements for the publication of the developer’s full-year 2023 report, according to an HKEX filing.
- Board had resolved to recommend PwC to consider to resign as the auditor
- PwC agreed to resign with effect from Sept. 3
- PwC stated in its resignation letter that it is pending the group to provide outstanding documents in order to complete the relevant audit work
- Names Zhonghui Anda CPA as new auditor with effect from Sept. 5
- Trading in the shares of the company will remain suspended
