Debt of Monaco-Based Trading Firm Falls Amid Auditing Probe (2)

Bondholders are getting nervous about the U.K. regulator’s probe into auditor practices at Monaco Resources Group’s British unit.

A bond sold last year by an arm of the private commodities and logistics business dropped five cents on the euro this week, sliding to the lowest on record at 92.5 cents on Thursday, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. Earlier this month, the Financial Reporting Council said it started investigating into how advisers at MHA MacIntyre Hudson audited MRG Finance UK Plc’s 2018 and 2019 accounts.
