The leader of Deloitte LLP’s U.S. audit practice has been nominated to succeed Cathy Engelbert as the firm’s next CEO.
A vote to ratify Joe Ucuzoglu as the firm’s top executive is set for early 2019, according to a statement from Deloitte.
Deloitte’s board of directors submitted Ucuzoglu’s name to the firm’s partners and principals, who will ultimately decide who will lead the firm. Deloitte chooses a new CEO and board chair every four years.
The firm’s board has also nominated Janet Foutty, who leads Deloitte’s consulting practice, to succeed Mike Fucci as chairman of the board.
