Big Four accounting firm Deloitte LLP has increased its number of Black and Latinx employees by almost 44% since 2020 and increased its number of female partners by 9.3% over the same period, the firm said Monday in its second annnual diversity, equity, and inclusion report.
Like many large accounting firms in the US, Deloitte’s leadership is overwhelmingly White. A majority—72.2%—of the firm’s employees on the partnership and managing director level identifies as White, but the employees who advanced to leadership roles in 2022 are the most diverse in the organization’s history, the firm said.
