Deloitte Grows Fiduciary Tax Services Group in Team Acquisition

Deloitte’s tax arm has acquired certain assets of a Cincinnati fiduciary tax compliance company in an effort to expand its practice and clientele.

Deloitte Tax LLP announced the acquisition involving Trust Processing Solutions LLP on Monday, saying the move will position the firm to become one of the largest providers of fiduciary tax services in the US. The firm’s institutional trust group and former TPS employees will form a new team that seeks to capitalize on TPS’s marketplace connections.
