Deloitte LLP faces a potential hit of more than 20 million pounds ($25 million) after being found at fault over its auditing of technology group Autonomy Corp. Plc.
Rebecca Sabben-Clare, lawyer for the Financial Reporting Council, demanded Friday that Deloitte pay costs of 5.6 million pounds. The demand came after the FRC said it wants Deloitte to be fined 15 million pounds for the audits, which the tribunal ruled Thursday were inadequate.
