Deloitte UK Makes Consulting Veteran Head of Financial Services

Deloitte said Tuesday it had chosen consulting veteran Suresh Kanwar to head its UK financial services team, as the firm deals with a slow advisory market.

Kanwar led the Big Four firm’s banking and capital markets team until taking up his new post on March 1. He replaces Richard Hammell, who becomes Deloitte UK’s clients and markets leader after five years as financial services managing partner.
