Deloitte Wins Audit of South Africa’s Eskom from Grant Thornton

Deloitte LLP has won the contract to audit the same big South African power company to which it had to return some consulting fees last year.

Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd said Thursday that the Big Four accounting firm’s South African arm, Deloitte & Touche, would take over as auditor in November. Deloitte last year refunded millions of dollars in consulting fees to Eskom.
