Discovery Turns to AI to Double Operating Income by 2029

Discovery Ltd. plans to expand the roll out of its new artificial intelligence tool — already in use in South Africa and the UK — to clients across its Vitality Network, including in Europe and North America, as it seeks to double its operating income by 2029.

The company, which runs South Africa’s biggest health-insurance administrator, will also use insights from the tool to guide product development, Chief Executive Officer Adrian Gore said in an interview with Bloomberg TV.
