Embattled Landlord Adler Put Under Investigation by Prosecutors

Prosecutors in Frankfurt have opened an investigation into Adler Group SA.

The probe began after German financial regulator BaFin filed a complaint, according to a person familiar with the matter, who asked not to be identified because it’s private. The investigation will center on the 2019 sale of a property in Dusseldorf-Gerresheim for 375 million euros ($402 million), the person said. Handelsblatt reported the case earlier.
