EY Auditor Among Three New Hires at Global Accounting Adviser

The body that advises companies on how to use international accounting standards announced three new appointments Tuesday, including a Big Four US audit partner and representatives from Japan and Korea.

The three will join the International Financial Reporting Standards Interpretations Committee for a three-year term starting July 1, replacing retiring members. The 14-strong committee helps to ensure consistent application of accounting standards and answers firms’ questions about how to use them.
