Ernst and Young’s Australian arm is considering job cuts after revenue fell last year and market conditions remain volatile.
The Big Four firm said in an emailed statement late Wednesday that market volatility impacted its business last year and it hasn’t recovered as expected so far. It didn’t say how many jobs could be affected nor from which divisions.
- “Based on current demand we are considering making workforce adjustments to reflect market conditions. In some particular circumstances targeted restructuring may be required. These decisions are incredibly difficult,” EY Australia said in a statement.
