EY Consolidates Latin America After Breakup Plan Collapsed

Ernst & Young will combine its two Latin American regions, bringing more than a dozen member firms under a single chain of command, the firm said this week.

Manuel Solano has been tapped to lead the combined operations as the regional managing partner for EY Latin America, the firm announced Thursday. Solano specializes in international tax consulting and currently serves as the regional managing partner for the firm’s Latin America North division.
