EY India Wins Mandate to Help Leading Steel Maker Become Greener

One of India’s leading steel companies has hired Ernst & Young LLP to help draw up its sustainability strategy, underlying the growing importance of green business to the big accounting firms.

Jindal Stainless said Monday that it was committed to shifting towards sustainable manufacturing and had launched a project to assess its performance against various measures of environmental, social, and governance standards. EY will help it to develop a strategic plan to improve ESG performance, along with forecasting greenhouse gas emissions and setting pollution reduction targets.
