Ernst & Young is lobbying partners to support an ambitious plan to take public the firm’s consulting, strategy, and managed services within the next two years.
Firm leaders expect to decide later this summer whether to move forward with a plan to separate the global consulting and audit practices into separately run businesses. Partners of EY affiliates around the world could be asked to vote as soon as this autumn, with the aim of taking the consulting business public in the fall of 2023, people at the firm familiar with the deliberations said.
