UK fintech firm Revolut announced Ernst and Young as its new auditor on Thursday, replacing BDO which previously qualified and delayed the publication of some accounts.
EY will take over the audit in financial year 2026, after a formal tender, Revolut said in a statement. BDO had audited the fintech company since 2018, but delayed publication of its 2021 accounts because it couldn’t verify 75% of its revenue. Revolut’s 2022 accounts were also delayed.
