Ernst & Young LLP has launched a dedicated U.K. sustainability consulting business, cashing in on tightening climate disclosure requirements for companies.
EY said Monday the business, EY Carbon, will advise companies on new requirements to publish net zero plans by 2023. The firm will spend 100 million pounds ($135 million) on EY Carbon, with plans to hire 1,300 staff over the next three years, it said in a press release.
