EY’s Incoming Global CEO Names Former Rivals to Leadership Team

Incoming Ernst & Young chief executive Janet Truncale has tapped top partners from across the world to serve as her lieutenants as she builds out the leadership team for the firm’s global arm.

Among the appointees are two leaders who had also vied alongside Truncale for the job to succeed Carmine Di Sibio when he retires this summer. Partners learned of the appointments in an email on Monday, according to a source familiar with Truncale’s picks.

EY’s global arm declined to comment Wednesday.
