FedEx Provides Estimates on Benefits of U.S. Stimulus Package

FedEx notes the air cargo and aviation fuel excise tax holiday provisions in Trump’s $2 trillion stimulus package that apply from March 28 through December 31, 2020.

  • To provide context, FedEx estimates the tax savings would have benefited FedEx’s consolidated operating income by about $250 million, if it was in effect during FedEx’s last fiscal year
  • Says long-term impacts on FedEx’s business from covid-19 remain unknown
