More women lead the audits of S&P 500 companies at Deloitte LLP than any other Big Four firm, but overall women nab just a fraction of those lucrative assignments compared to their male colleagues.

Women oversaw the audits of 15 percent of S&P 500 companies, and just 11 percent of those in the S&P 100, according to 2017 audit engagement partner data reviewed by the CFA Institute, which serves investment managers.
