A former medical foundation executive can move forward with his claim that he was fired because of his reports that a subordinate violated the organization’s standards of conduct, but saw his state whistleblower law count thrown out.
Edward John Pallies failed to show that the Pennsylvania-based Lenape Valley Foundation and its CEO and human resources director otherwise may have violated the Pennsylvania Whistleblower Law by retaliating against him, Judge Harvey Bartle III of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania said in a split ruling on summary judgment.
