GE Ends 111-Year Link With Auditor KPMG After Financial Miscues

General Electric Co. plans to replace KPMG as its auditor following a series of high-profile financial stumbles, ending a relationship that stretches back more than a century.

The manufacturer picked Deloitte to be its independent auditor for next year, GE said in a statement Monday. KPMG will finish in its capacity through this year and the filing of the 2020 annual report.
