Government Accounting Board Gains New Vice Chair This Summer (1)

The accounting rulewriter for state and local governments will gain a new vice chair this July.

Governmental Accounting Standards Board member Jacqueline Reck will help steer the group alongside Chair Joel Black, replacing current Vice Chair Jeffrey Previdi. The board of trustees of the Financial Accounting Foundation, GASB’s parent body, announced the one-year appointment Wednesday.

Reck, a University of South Florida accounting professor, will assume her new role after Previdi’s second term concludes June 30. She has been a board member since 2022.
